The last skiing before the season closes

(Old post from MSN space)

Went skiing again during the long weekend as it's the last second weekend before the ski fields close. This is the third time in a row this year to go skiing - from Happy Valley to the middle of the mountain and to the upper mountain. Make some progresses from each trip, but also have different injuries. This time is far better than the last one, only have muscle pain around the shoulder but the rest of the body is all "complete". The weather and snow condition is beautiful as well, the best one this year. When you stay in the lower mountain, you never know the beauty of the scenery and quietness in the upper mountain. The snow is so white, and the mountain is so big, the whole mountain is like yours and you won't be hit by unexperienced skiers because people there are experienced to know how to get away from you. Hehe, it's good for a beginner like me to be there so I could take my time to enjoy the skiing, not the falling.

Life is like skiing, when you stay in the crowd and follow the route, you can't get away from the crowd and are forced to compete against them; when you are out from the crowd and be on your own, it's not about following the route anymore because there's no route. The only thing you could do is to create the route and overcome your own fears to achieve the destination. I wish one day I could become a skillful skier, as well as a skillful person in the life journey to achieve the goal.
