手邊現在用的杯子, 是06年時在 Syndey The Rock Market 買的, 原先是要送人當 sourvenir 的, 不過後來被日本同事講講, 建議改送別的禮物, 杯子就留著自己用了. 因為原先是要當紀念品的, 所以杯子的設計就很"澳洲化", 大大的九個 AUSTRALIA 英文字母, 分別是用不同的澳洲代表動物組合而成, 很有意思, 顏色也很繽紛. 價格還不便宜呢, 記得一個大約是 29 澳幣, 超過台幣 700 一個杯呢, 還只是普通的瓷器質地, 不是骨瓷也不是水晶.
當初日本同事覺得杯子太個人化, 如果收禮的人不喜歡, 被擺在一旁的機會多於被使用的機會. 不過也許自己也喜歡這個杯子的關係, 倒覺得它比任何我在海外買的特產品更常被用到, 看著它, 有時也想想那時到澳洲出差的日子, 和那些繽紛色彩後的南半球生活.
30 歲生日時, 我也收過一個杯子, 是前男友送的. 當時還很氣的跟他抱怨為什麼只有一個杯, 兩個或一套杯組都好, 太沒誠意了. 現在看來, 杯子的設計是不差, 挺現代的, 不過在當下氣頭上, 每每使用就會想起背後的插曲, 離開 NZ 之後, 杯子也就留在家中的廚櫃內了.

GMAT
Though the exam nightmare won't exist anymore after finishing the degree long long time ago, while because of the crazy thought of studying another degree and the outdated GMAT, I need to sit the exam again..
The exam time is around 210 mins, plus the optional breaks, I vaguely remembered it will take more than 4 hours to finish the computer-based exam, starting from 9am next Monday. Can't believe how I did that back in 1999, and I am not sure what kind of score I will get with only less than 3 days preparation. Waste of money indeed!
At the time of writing, I am just taking a break from reading the GMATPrep materials for around two hours. Good thing is that my overall English ability is better than that in 1999, while the bad thing is that I've completely forget the exam taking skills I learned 10 years ago from the cram school. Sometimes good English doesn't mean anything, as when I did my first postgraduate degree, my GMAT score is not worse than average native English speakers.
Funny thing is that I choose a very bad luck day to sit the exam, 414, the pronunciation in Chinese is similar to "死一死" (haha, my imagination is great!), or, if I really need to think positively, "試一試". No matter the former or later, it pretty much reflects my actual mood, 反正橫豎都是死, 試一試吧!
If I can finish the analytical writing assessment so smoothly like writing my blog within 30 mins, that will be really lucky.

還是一整個亂...
放完假回來, 公司的事還是一樣多, 自己的事還是一團亂, 在把學校申請書遞上後, 還得準備後續的文件和考試. 這週末要閉關在家準備下星期一早上的 GMAT, 不管最後選擇要唸或不唸, 先得要學校要我才可以. 掙扎了好一陣子, 在要唸書與不唸之間, 還是決定先試了再說.
