OE

(Old post from MSN space)

Finally manage to put together all the required information and submit my UK working holiday visa application today. Normally the process will take around 6 - 8 weeks and hopefully I will get the approval to fulfill the Europe dream :)

This month is going to be tough for me - need to finish the current project, need to do a proper handover to other people at work, need to pack, book the ticket, arrange the trip, need to convert all (or most) of my NZD assets, need to organise the farewell party, need to..............get ready for the unknown move...

It's mixed feeling to leave NZ for an uncertain period. From the dislike stage, to the get-used-to stage, and to the semi-home stage, it takes me almost eight years to be like a kiwi. My home and family is still in Taiwan, while I am just not sure how well I could adopt to the environment again....Anyway, putting those unknown things aside, I am going to be in another totally different country (or you could say continent) to start a new life adventure. Just give it go...like most of the kiwis say...because you will never know what awaits you there! That's the only motivation I've got now.
