After celebrating the New Year's Eve with old colleagues and enjoying watching the beautiful 101 fireworks on the top of the building without crunching with the crowd, the beginning of my year 2008 didn't seem to be too great compared with 2007.
In the morning of 1st Jan, I suffered from the second enterogastritis happened during the holiday and needed to postpone the flight back to Hong Kong in order to go to the hospital the next day for body check.
On the first day back to work (3rd Jan), I opened the trading platform and found out all my positions had been stopped out and the loss is more than a year salary of mine. Worse thing is that the majority of the money belongs to the family and I don't even know how to say to them the shocked news.
Got the flu last night and don't know how I am going to plan my 2008 if the beginning is so negative.
I try to stay calm and remain positive. Hopefully it will turn out better, or not worse.
